He also says he knows it doesn't really work that way. As he and Mr. Peanutbutter leave Princess Carolyn's office, Todd suggests he and Maude go on a double date with Mr. Peanutbutter and Pickles. Todd and Mr. Peanutbutter don't get quite as much to do in the BoJack Horseman ending as Diane and Princess Carolyn, but this is more indicative of them having their own respective paths.
